This policy explains how Ford Driving School Sheffield collects and uses your personal information. Ford Driving School Sheffield is a service-area business operating across Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield and Worksop, and does not operate from a public business address.

Who we are

What we collect

When you contact us by phone, email or the enquiry form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the type of lessons you are interested in, and anything you choose to tell us in your message. If you become a pupil, we also keep lesson records, progress notes and payment history.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange and deliver lessons, and keep records of your progress. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests for responding to enquiries, and performance of a contract once you book lessons. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

If you ask about manual lessons, we may pass your enquiry to MF Driving School, who provide manual tuition. Pupil lesson and progress records are held in our online pupil portal, provided by BLine (blinedriving.co.uk), which acts as our data processor. We may also share information where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to lessons are deleted within 12 months. Pupil records are kept for up to six years after your last lesson, to cover tax and insurance obligations.

This website uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to request a copy.
